Mr. Daniel Russin, age 69 of Citrus Springs, Florida, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Inverness, FL. He was born February 10, 1941 in Jessup, PA. and moved to Citrus Springs in 1992. |
Mr. Russing was a Chief Petty Officer (Ret) for the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. |
He enjoyed model railroading, U.S. and Military History; he was a fan of the NY Yankees, Chicago Bears and John Wayne. In fact while in the military Daniel appeared in the movie "In Harms Way" starring John Wayne. He also enjoyed his pet dogs. |
Mr. Russin was preceded in death by his parents George D. Russin, mother, Margaret (Straka) Fabian and sister Elaine Troiani. Survivors include wife of 30 years, Catherine Russin, Citrus Springs, FL; 1 son: Daniel Russin, Jr., Virginia Beach, VA; 2 Daughters: Georganna Kelly and Christinia Ege both of Virginia Beach, VA. and 5 Grandchildren. |
